Your Smiling Buddha 48×48 Original Painting

Your Smiling Buddha was I painted in the darkest part of my life, right after my husband died. I was desperately searching for anything to keep me going. I have always found my inner peace in painting. This painting shed a little light in my life and gave me great peace to paint. The copper flakes I added onto the Buddha’s face shimmer in the right lighting, reminding us the light is there even when we can’t see it right away.
