Ms. Persall

Ms. Persall is inspired by the female mapmaker, Phyllis Persall. Having an affinity towards maps and exploring, I used alphanumeric stars, imaginary timelines, and secret codes in this painting.  I like thinking sometime in the future someone may find a secret galaxy based on my coordinates. I painted this while I working on A League of Their Own, with Abbi Jacobson. I was the on set scenic for that particular show. In between set-ups you could find me playing with paint, making these images.
