Pacific Pause

The text reads You are not a reflection of those who cannot love you.Thousands of feet between my home and the earths surface. I was paused in the pacific, between New Zealand and Australia when I figured this out. I was reflecting on this time in my life when I was filming Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom with Viola Davis. I was the on set scenic for the show. In between set-ups you could find me playing with paint, making my own little worlds.
